We are pleased to invite Mr. Katsuhisa Fujino, Senior Winemaker, as our guest speaker for a Maker's Dinner in collaboration with "Château Mercian" and "La Locanda", a pioneer in Japanese wine.
◇About Château Mercian
Château Mercian is a winery with its roots in the 『Dainihon Yamanashi Wine Company』, the first private wine company established in Japan in 1877.
Château Mercian is where the history of Japanese wine began.
“First there are grapes. We seek the best wine that can only be made in Japan.”
Based on the belief that "good wine is the honest expression of the grapes grown by the climate, climate, and producers of the land",
『Château Mercian』 is pursuing the concept of "Growing Differences in the World" - nurturing differences (learning about the world and nurturing Japanese individuality)
and pursuing individuality that only Japanese wines can express.
◇About Mr. Katsuhisa Fujino, Senior Winemaker
