TOU

shinjuku-ku, Tokyo Original

We are pleased to announce the opening of “TOU” at Kimoto in Kagurazaka.
The chef is Keisuke Sakai, who trained at ”Ao Nishiazabu” and is currently working under Yasuya Kimoto at ”Kimoto”.

The name of the restaurant is derived from the color “Orange,” which is the opposite of “Ao,” the name of his master's restaurant.
The fruit, “Orange” is considered a lucky fruit that will prosper “for generations to come” because the fruit does not fall off the tree and the year passes without the fruit falling off.
Through the seasons, and through our relationships with our customers and producers, we aim to create a restaurant that will be loved by everyone for many years to come, allowing them to experience the changing of the seasons through our food.

We hope you will enjoy the one and only cuisine created with our unique sensibilities while inheriting the culinary philosophy and techniques learned from two masters, Kimoto and Ao.
We look forward to serving you.
