The owner, Taizo Hirokado, trained for over 20 years at Michelin 2 and 3 star Japanese restaurants in Osaka and Tokyo before opening his own restaurant in his birthplace.
Almost all of our dishes are prepared using the finest ingredients from Oita and Kyushu.
Specialties: Hassun (appetizers) that reflect the scenery of Kyushu and Oita, Habamo (green peppers) (spring to fall), and the owner's handmade Soba noodles.
Oita: Enjoy "Oita/Kyushu food entertainment" at the counter overlooking the stone garden that embodies the culture of stone.

For souvenirs, for dinner, for breakfast the next day... Oita Wagyu beef stewed with Oita shiitake mushrooms, sansho (Japanese pepper) and ginger is a hearty and satisfying bento specially prepared by Beppu Hirokado.
For children and those who do not like the spiciness of the pepper and ginger, a shiitake mushroom-only bento is also available.
The rice is made from Oita Prefecture's Hinohikari "Shiroshita Takezumi Rice," which is also served as part of the course.

We ask those who are allergic to buckwheat to refrain from coming to our restaurant.
We serve several dishes using buckwheat flour, and it is difficult to find an alternative menu.
If you have any other allergies, we may not be able to accept your reservation. Please understand this in advance.
Course offerings will start simultaneously at the time of your reservation. If you arrive late or leave the restaurant before the scheduled time, we may not be able to serve you a portion of your course.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, we will cancel your reservation and a 100% cancellation policy will apply, so please arrive well in advance.

Fully equipped with air conditioning and air purifier, toys and picture books.
The owner and proprietress built this children's house for their own daughter, so we take safety into consideration.

*Cancellation on the day of the event will incur a cancellation fee of ¥2,000.
*There is a possibility that your child may share the room with other guests' children.
*We may ask you to bring in your own food if we cannot accommodate your child's allergy.
