Hiroyuki Kanda of Japanese Cuisine Kanda and Sushi Imafuku will be co-hosting the "Noto Support Temporary Restaurant" event as Sushi Shijinin.
Mr. Imafuku, owner of Sushi Imafuku, is covering most of the expenses for this event, and is providing the location so that restaurants in the Hokuriku region can operate as temporary restaurants in Tokyo.
The earthquake has caused a dramatic decrease in the number of tourists to Hokuriku, as well as the number of restaurants and plate glasses.
We would like to convey to you in Tokyo our desire to have you eat with Toyama and Hokuriku ingredients, but we would also like you to come to Hokuriku and enjoy the delicious local sushi and cuisine.
Your support is what Hokuriku needs right now.
*10% of the proceeds will be used to support the Noto Peninsula earthquake recovery efforts.
