Two Michelin 3-star and Green Star restaurants, Single Thread (USA) and L'Effervescence (Japan), will hold a collaborative dinner.
For this special menu, Chefs Kyle Connaughton and Fuminobu Namie, who both have a deep knowledge of cuisine rooted in the bounty of nature, will draw on their extensive knowledge of each other's food to offer a message from a Japanese perspective on the "future of food," from the health of people and society to the preservation of the global environment.
The course is a quasi-vegetarian menu centered on the bounty of the sea surrounding the island nation, and California and Japanese wines and sake prepared especially for this collaboration.
