Nanzenji Hyotei

Nanzenji Hyotei is a Japanese restaurant established 450 years ago.
Four tea rooms, including one that dates back to the time of its founding, are used as dining rooms.
The shoji screens, fusuma (sliding doors), and polychrome walls have been repeatedly repaired, so you can enjoy the history of these rooms.
Please be careful with the shoji screens and fusuma screens and the juraku walls, as they may be damaged.
In addition, the light coming in through the window is important in a tea ceremony room, and the room should be slightly dark, not too bright, and this is how the room is illuminated in our hotel.
The ceiling is low, about 6 shaku (less than 180 cm), so please be careful not to bump your head against the ceiling.

*If we are unable to contact you after 30 minutes of your reservation time, we may be forced to cancel your reservation, so please be sure to contact us if you are going to be late.
*Please refrain from wearing sandals, tank tops, and other excessively light clothing.

*For reservations of 7 or more people, please call our restaurant directly.

*Halal and vegan are not available.
*If you are allergic to flour contained in soy sauce or miso, we cannot accommodate you. Please understand this in advance.
*Please note that it may be difficult to provide alternative ingredients to those with allergies or special preferences on the day of the event due to food preparation.
