We would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the recent earthquake in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture.
We are pleased to participate in a pop-up event hosted by Sushi Imafuku under the supervision of Hiroyuki Kanda of Japanese Cuisine Kanda.
This event is to support restaurants in the disaster area by having chefs volunteer to make sushi.
This year's event follows Japanese Cuisine Kanda and Ginza Kanamatsu, which opened as "Noto Support Friendship Restaurants," and Sushi Shijin and Zenya, which opened as "Noto Support Temporary Restaurants. The owner, Mr. Imafuku, is providing the restaurant, staff, food, and drinks from the disaster area free of charge. We will cover the cost of ingredients for the sushi, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to support the recovery of restaurants in the Noto region.
We are also grateful to Shinmasa Sake Brewery, Imanishi Sake Brewery, Kiyamasa Sake Brewery, Senkori, Hibi Jozo, Tomita Sake Brewery, Hananoka Sake Brewery, Domaine Takahiko, and Nouragura for their generous sponsorship of the event.
