Yakitori Shinohara is a restaurant specializing in chicken kaiseki cuisine where you can taste the matureable and rare "Kyoto Takasaka Chicken" raised by Hideki Takasaka, a genius poultry farmer who is the pride of Japan.

*From July 2024, we will be open on Tuesdays.

Reservation rules

■Children's visit to the restaurant
We do not allow children under elementary school age (pre-school children) in the restaurant.
Private rooms are available for elementary school students and older, and the counter is available for high school students and older.
Please be sure to reserve a private room when accompanied by children of elementary school age or older or junior high school age or younger.
Both seats are only available for those who can eat the same course as an adult.
In the unlikely event that a chair or other in-store fixture is soiled or damaged, a separate cleaning fee (5,000 yen) will be charged.

■About private rooms
*Capacity: up to 4 persons.
*A separate private room fee of 4,000 yen (Tax included)/room will be charged.

■About coming to the restaurant on the day of the event
*Please make sure that the person who made the reservation is the one who will come. We do not accept any substitutions or transfers of reservations in order to prevent any problems.
*We will start at the reserved time. If you arrive late or leave the restaurant before the scheduled time, we may not be able to serve you a portion of your course.

■About the course menu
Our restaurant specializes in "Takasaka chicken," which is raw chicken meat made by a special breeding method and treatment.
Therefore, raw chicken sashimi and raw eggs may be served as part of the course. Please understand this in advance.
Please let us know in advance if you cannot eat raw chicken or raw eggs.
If you inform us in advance, we will heat the meat or replace it with an alternative dish (such as yakitori skewers).
If you do not inform us in advance, we will serve raw chicken sashimi as it is.

■Special note
Please indicate “food items you are not fond of or allergic to” in the “Special request” section.
We are unable to accept any other requests. We will not be able to accept any other requests.
