"merachi" in Nishi-Azabu is a counter-only restaurant based on Italian regional cuisine.
The name "merachi" comes from Greek and Italian, meaning "made with love by a craftsman."

Chef Kosuke Sugimoto opened "merachi" in 2021 after 8 years of training in various countries, including "Ristorante TOKUYOSHI" in Milan, "Mielcke & Hurtigkarl" in Copenhagen, "Gaggan" in Bangkok, and one-star "FARO" in Ginza after returning to Japan.
Using carefully selected ingredients from all over Japan and adding the chef's ideas, he will offer unique Italian cuisine that can only be enjoyed in Japan.

In addition, from August, we have changed from the traditional omakase menu to a prix fixe menu, allowing customers to choose as little or as much as they like.
First, enjoy three small appetizers prepared by the chef, followed by a choice of four dishes from the appetizer and pasta menus (standardized for one group).
After that, you will choose one main dish (same dish for both of you), and finally, dessert will be served.
Pasta lovers are welcome to make reservations for our pasta, as we are particular about our pasta, including the traditional short pasta "Trofier" which is handmade right in front of our customers.

The restaurant is equipped with a walk-in cellar for customers to make their own selections, including approximately 500 bottles of Italian, French, and other hard-to-find French vintage wines.
Please enjoy our passionate chef's specialties in the open kitchen with its single-panel counter made of Japanese zelkova.
