Restaurant introduction

Kitano-zaka, a slope full of emotion, is located on the mountainside of the port city of Kobe. Restaurant Uemura is located facing Kitano-zaka.

At Ryouriya Uemura, we keep the basics of Japanese cuisine in mind while introducing new ingredients and cooking methods, and we are also particular about the utensils that are indispensable for our dishes.
In particular, we are very particular about the ingredients we use, and place importance on interaction with the producers. This is because we believe that we should take into consideration the utmost safety and security of the ingredients as they go into the mouths of our valued customers.

Because of this, the restaurant has only 11 seats at the counter where you can meet the owner.
