Kagurazaka Yakitori Akane will move to Azabu Juban in February 2025 and be reborn under the new name “Toribayashi.
Origin of the restaurant name
The character for “ Tori(酉)” symbolizes traditional Japanese food culture, such as sake, vinegar, fermentation, soy sauce, etc.
The word “Hayashi(囃子)” means to bring together people like a musical accompaniment and to enliven the atmosphere in a spectacular way.
Combining these two characters, we named the restaurant “Toribayashi” with the hope of conveying the appeal of YAKITORI to people around the world.
As in the past, we will continue to value the traditional techniques and fundamentals of yakitori while incorporating our own unique methods to provide new value.
